Page Pulp’s Favorite Literary Things: Frostbeard Studio Candles
I’ll admit it, I’m an Etsy addict. I have wasted many hours looking through the site and buying things that I didn’t even know that I needed. Of course, not everything on there is great (as any former reader of Regretsy knows), but every so often you will find a real gem. I found that recently with Frostbeard Studio.
Frostbeard Studio is an awesome company that handcrafts soy candles with literary scents. What do I mean by literary scents? Their candles have names such as ‘Winterfell’, ‘Mockingjay’, ‘Old Books’, and my personal favorite, ‘Dumbledore’s Office’. How do you make a candle smell like Dumbledore’s office? I have no idea, but they do it–it smells exactly like one might imagine Dumbledore’s Office to smell.(Full disclosure: I may or may not be burning that candle and drinking from my souvenir Butterbeer mug as we speak.)
That’s what I love about Frostbeard Studio. It is not just that their candles smell great, but the way that they put their scents together shows real literary insight. When you burn the Mockingjay candle, you feel like you are hunting in the woods with Katniss and Gale (or you might if you are a nerd like me). They really have insight into the reader’s imagination. Bottom line: if you are looking for a unique, unexpected gift for the book lover in your life (or yourself), check out Frostbeard Studio candles. You won’t be disappointed.
*Disclosure: In case anyone is curious, I was not paid by Etsy or Frostbeard Studios for this post. I just really love these candles.
